This site is intended to be a tool to aid you in studying and rightly dividing the Word of God. As such, you'll find very little in the way of images, videos, etc. Our intent is not to be flashy and follow popular doctrines, authors or preachers. Instead we try to seek out the truth in God's Word. This site is intended to challenge your doctrines, and by doing so show you how to truly understand the Bible.
Although it takes commitment and some time, it's well worth the effort. The goal is to learn to put God's Word as our ultimate authority and look at it in context to determine the actual meaning of the author and not to simply take the word of others. The real power in God's Word comes first from knowledge and then from revelation.
Most likely you won't always agree with us, we expect that. If you disagree we have a discussion area, we ask that you stay polite and use a Hermeneutic approach to state your case. You'll find that your denominational statement, your churches statement of faith, popular cliches and Christian books hold little weight here. If you're going to disagree with us you must prove it in God's Word. (The results may surprise you)
Please browse the various articles, study techniques and tools. The main message of our ministry is READ YOUR BIBLE! Our goal is to help you do that properly. Our approach is to show you how to properly find the truth on your own, so you can truly be as the Bereans, they received what the preachers had to say, but they diligently searched the scriptures to see if these things were so. (Acts 17:11).
We challenge you to develop this characteristic in your Christan walk, even here at 4th Man Ministries. We hope you'll receive the things you learn here, but challenge you to search them out for yourself.
Also please keep in mind that this site is continually under construction. This is the biggest project I've ever started. If you notice things are not working right, it's probably because I goofed something up and am trying to fix it. You may notice things appear and disappear also. I'll do my best to keep things from getting too strange.
The internet is like a main street in the city, you choose how far to follow it. In some areas it may be a great place, nice houses etc. However if you follow it too far, you may wind up in a neighborhood that's not quite as nice, in fact it can be down right evil.
